
MARIO VERLANGIERI

Mario Verlangieri is a composer, music producer, audio engineer, and sound designer based in Los Angeles, California. Recent projects include recording and mixing the upcoming Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra record Fire and Water, and mixing the sound for the feature horror film Mauler (Apple TV+, Hulu, Prime Video). He contributed music on multiple TV series including C*A*U*G*H*T staring Sean Penn and Matthew Fox (Stan, ITVX), Blaze and the Monster Machines (Nickelodeon), and Robot Chicken (Adult Swim). He is know for his scores for the award-winning short films Donut Boy and Playground, and was a featured musician and score mixer on the documentary Beyond Ed Buck (PrimeVideo). His work has been featured at the Cannes International Film Festival, the Pan African Film and Arts Festival, and the Hawaii International Film Festival.​ In addition to his studio work, Mario is also active in the Los Angeles and Orange County music scenes as a musician and live sound engineer. He holds degrees from USC’s Screen Scoring Program, and California State University, San Bernardino. He works out of his personal studio, where he spends most of his time discovering new sounds and collaborating with other creatives. Outside of music and audio, Mario can be found hiking in the Angeles National Forest, kayaking around the Channel Islands, or enjoying a craft beer at a local brewery.
